Assembled. Tested. Verified.
Final assembly of servo-electric steering drives.
Explore the engineering
A connected assembly sequence
The line takes the steering drive through mechanical assembly, electrical connections and final checks. Preparing and bonding the cover, loading the ECU software and checking sealing and function are part of the same production sequence, with cleanliness and electrostatic protection considered throughout.
From assembly to final checks.
The final assembly and testing line for servo-electric steering drives brings together motor and ECU joining, bolting, contact welding, surface pre-treatment, cover bonding, ECU flashing, leak testing and functional testing.

Explore the machine, its working areas and the mechanical details behind the process.

Quality built into each station
Contact welding, motor and ECU fastening, cover preparation and bonding place different demands on the tooling. The stations must support consistent part positioning and high technical availability while allowing leak and functional tests to check the assembled drive.

The robot and its process tooling
Process tooling, sensors and routed connections are brought together at the robot. The mechanical detail connects the movement of the robot with the assembly operation and the space available around the station.

Precision at the working point
The working point is where the fixture and the process tool meet. Their relative position, accessibility and supporting structure are part of the detailed design behind a repeatable assembly operation.
